I found you! Where do I park?

Parking is on the street. There are three accessible parking spots next to the entrance stairs on Court St, and a ramp on Elm. The small parking lot behind the church has 4 parking spaces, however, they fill up quickly.

I’m here: now what?

We’re so glad you found us! Please relax and enjoy our hospitality. Everyone has heard jokes about Episcopalians, and there’s some truth in all of them, but St. Margaret’s thawed out long ago.

If you’re spiritual but not religious, you’ll find beauty, music, warmth, and, yes, ritual. If you’re coming from a Catholic or Orthodox background, the way we worship will seem very familiar. If you’re from an Evangelical background, you might feel a bit at sea, but hang in there, we’re on the shore. If you’re from another Protestant Church, you’ll be right at home with our service books.

We love having children’s participation and voices! There are materials for quiet activities at the entry to the church, and changing stations in the Parish Hall bathrooms upstairs.

You are welcome to sit wherever you feel comfortable. You’ll receive an order of worship from an usher, it will include the whole service. The music for the hymns is usually in the blue book, Hymnal 1982. There’s also a Bible in the pew for your use.

Listening assistive devices are in a basket at the entry to the church.

What about receiving communion?

All are welcomed to the Lord’s table. Yes, all means all.

“This church of ours is open to all – there will be no outcasts.”   24th Presiding Bishop Edmond L. Browning, 1985.
