St. Margaret’s Celebrates the Season of Creation

September 1st – October 4th 

This is the 5th year that St. Margaret’s has joined church communities throughout the world to give thanks for God’s gift of our world and to acknowledge our obligation to care for it. The Season began on September 1 with an ecumenical prayer service joined by Christian communities across the world. (At 6:30 that evening we at St. Margaret’s had a special Taize service of prayers, readings, meditations, and hymns focused on the Creation. Wednesday, September 2, the Morning Healing Service was the special liturgy for healing of the earth.  

To continue our celebration at St. Margaret’s you are invited to participate in the following liturgies and activities: 

Sunday, September 6th: Decorating the Tree of Life.
Wednesdays, Sept 9 – 30: Healing Services will be the liturgy for healing of the earth.
Wall of Wonder in the Parish House:A photo, painting, poem, or other artifact that inspires you.
Saturday, Sept 19:Garden Clean-Up and Potluck.
Sunday, Sept 20: Meditative Walk through our gardens.
