Transfiguration Prayer Service and Picnic – August 6

You are invited to a celebration of the Transfiguration of Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. 

This Prayer Service, followed by a picnic, will take place August 6 with the Prayer Service at 5:30-6:30 pm and the picnic from 6:30-7:30. There will be a small rehearsal for the actors and church this Sunday.

The Transfiguration is an extremely important event in human history, equal to Christmas and Easter for the Disciples of Jesus. God literally came from the heavens to help us fulfill His mission on earth. You can actually see this happen in the Transfiguration. Think about that in your prayers.
