Next Sunday, we welcome back the Rev. Bob Hargreaves for a 12-Step Eucharist. The 12-step recovery service is both a celebration and a prayer for recovery. It is a prayer of gratitude for those working through the 12-step program and on the path to recovery and a prayer for those still suffering from addictions. The service follows the form of a traditional communion service and incorporates each of the twelve steps and the well-known Serenity Prayer.

Our annual Blessing of the Animals coincides close to St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day, which is on Oct. 4th. This Sunday we had many parishioners and newcomers bring their pets. It was exclusively dogs this year, but someone did have Rev. Ineson bless their cat’s picture on their cell phone.
